Thank You, Jordi: What We Learned From an Expert Audit of ReachScraper
Short answer: Jordi Ordóñez reviewed ReachScraper on jordiob.com and gave it 7.2/10. We are grateful, we agree with his criticisms, and this post shows what we have already fixed and what is still in progress.
Thank you, Jordi
Jordi went through the whole product: the audit, niche ranking, Google Maps scraping, Deep Search, Willy, campaigns, Autopilot and the market tools. Then he wrote a fair and detailed review. Feedback like that is rare. You can read his full review here.
His scores
- Number of features: 9
- Pricing: 9
- Learning curve: 8
- 3rd-party integrations: 6
- Support: 6
- Data accuracy and transparency: 5
He liked the free plan with no credit card and the $9 starting tier (Apollo starts at $49), Google Maps scraping that reaches local businesses contact databases miss, and sending from your own Gmail, Outlook or SMTP account so your sender reputation stays yours. He also pointed out that nothing is sent until you approve it in Autopilot.
His cons and what we changed
1. Prices did not match across pages
Jordi: "the Willy page still lists Starter at $4.99 and Growth at $9.99, the pricing page lists $9 and $29."
Status: Fixed. Every price on the site now comes from one plan list: Starter $9, Growth $29, Pro $79, Agency $199. We also corrected the old prices still showing to search engines.
2. Unsubscribe handling was not documented
Status: Shipped. Every campaign and drip email now ends with a one-click unsubscribe link. The link is signed so it cannot be faked. When someone clicks it, they are marked as unsubscribed and left out of all future campaigns automatically. This supports CAN-SPAM and GDPR opt-out rules.
3. No DKIM or SPF guidance
Status: Fixed. Our Email Compliance Guide explains how to set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, how suppression works, and why bulk outreach should go through your own SMTP provider and not Gmail. The campaign and tracking screens link to it.
4. Open tracking only, no click tracking
Status: Shipped. Every link in campaign and drip emails is now tracked. The Tracking page shows how many people clicked, your click rate, and the last link each recipient clicked. Failed sends are no longer counted as sent.
5. No inbox warm-up or rotation across sending accounts
Status: Planned. Today ReachScraper keeps sending within your provider's hourly limit, lets you set a cap for each mailbox, runs health checks, and pauses a campaign when a provider fails. Warm-up and rotation across multiple accounts are on the roadmap.
6. Data accuracy and transparency (5/10)
Jordi: Deep Search only uses the company's own website, names no verification provider and publishes no accuracy figure.
Status: Shipped. He is right: Deep Search results are only as good as the prospect's website. Each email, contact and social profile Deep Search finds now shows a "Source" link to the exact page it came from, with the date it was found. Every lead also carries a data-quality label (Strong, Partial or Thin), and our public How our data works page shows live numbers from our database.
7. Market intelligence numbers have no sources
Status: Planned. Jordi called the market tools a useful brainstorming aid but noted that market-share figures are shown without sources. We will add source references and label numbers that are estimates.
8. Integrations (6/10)
Status: Planned. Leads can be exported to CSV, Excel or a live Google Sheet today. Direct HubSpot and Salesforce sync is on the roadmap.
What comes next
We will update this post as each item ships. Thank you again, Jordi, for holding us to a high standard.
